Additional Resource Provision

Our ARP

Lindens Academy has a 12 place Additional Resource Provision for children who have physical disabilities and/or complex medical needs. 

Lindens Academy provides additional and differentiated access to the curriculum through our Little Gems/Gemstones provision. All children who are part of our additional resource provision have EHCP'S           ( Education, Health and Care Plans) provided by the local authority with a primary area of need of Sensory and Physical. 

Our Provision

Through our Little Gems and Gemstones provision we provide access to an alternative bespoke curriculum for identified pupils in the core subjects English, Maths and Reading. 

As part of our alternative curriculum, children have access to; 

- Clicker

-Aided Language Displays

-Voice Recording technology

-Radio Aids

-Makaton

-Words First reading programme

-Assistive technology

-Software for recording 

Our ARP Teacher

This is Miss Reynolds. She is our class teacher for the ARP.  Miss Reynolds works closely with our school SENDCo's to ensure the children in our ARP have access to a bespoke and tailored curriculum to meet their individual needs.
